Where do I get Pregnancy insurance (already pregnant) in New York “Upstate”?

We have been “trying” to have another baby for a year now… We are pregnant and without insurance… which was ok until I found out we are a high-risk pregnancy and it will be costing us a whole lot more than we figured… Does anyone know where I can get pregnancy insurance, already being pregnant, in Madison County New York ??? That does not go by income guidelines as we are self employeed and that does not go by how much is in our checking/savings accounts. (both our mothers recently passed away and that life insurance money is in the savings accounts) Thanks in advance for answers…

The state will usually help you pick up whatever your other insurance does not Pregnancy is not cheap/ I know Washington state has health just for pregnancy
Have you tried to get on medicade? They can put you on a program where you will have medical coverage for the baby and check ups but you will have like a co-pay and may have to pay some bills but it will be a little cheaper for you. its something to look into, or at least as about.
hey karleebug i just googled it for you & came up with 2 sites…MaternityCard.com or MaternityAdvantage.com Hope these help! i know in Michigan we have this thing called MIChild…it’s an insurance that you can get for pregnancy & for your child when born. you should check with your Department of Social Services…they may have something. good luck hope you find something…& congrats on baby!!!

Only Cigna and HIP will pick up women who are already pregnant if you qualify under the income guidelines.
Goodluck, just please don’t go with MATERNITY CARD! They are bad news!!!! Any company that offers you something other than REAL insurance is only going to scam you. You will end up paying more in the long run.
